Airport Information Desk and Facilities
Information and Help Desk You can find a Visitor Information Booth in Terminal A (tel: (860) 627 3590). It provides tourist information, airport directions and paging services. For tourist information and brochures, Connecticut Welcome Centres are available in both terminals.
Airport Facilities Money and phone: There are several banks, ATMs and Internet kiosks available at the airport, in both terminals. Telephones are in Terminal A. Eating and drinking: The airport offers a wide range of restaurants, snack bars, fast-food outlets and cafés. There are also an ice cream parlour and cocktail lounges in Terminal A and a pub in Terminal B. Shopping: Gift shops and newsagents can be found in both terminals. Luggage services: Throughout both terminals, trolleys are available for a small fee. Lost property is handed to the State Police. Conference and Business Facilities A good option would be The American Audio Visual business centre (tel: (860) 623 5381), located by the entrance to the Sheraton Hotel between Terminals A and B. It offers many facilities, including a photocopier, fax machine, computer workstations, parcel delivery services, and overhead and slide projectors. A state-of-the-art convention centre, Adriaen's Landing is located just minutes from the airport. Executive lounges are to be found in both terminals, including the US Airways Club Lounge (tel: (860) 627 3933), located near boarding gate A6; facilities include telephones, work stations and data ports.
Disabled Facilities The airport is fully accessible to disabled passengers. You can find elevators in both terminals and ramps in both Terminal B concourses. It is advisable for passengers requiring assistance that they contact the Skycap station on the upper level and that they also inform their airline of any requirements or assistance, prior to travel. All toilets are wheelchair-accessible and there's a unisex companion-care toilet available next to the baggage reclaim area on the lower level. Eight TDD/TTY phones for the speech and hearing impaired can be found in the lobby, in two concourses, the baggage reclaim area of Terminal B and the lobby, concourse and baggage reclaim areas of Terminal A. Both the long and short-term car parks offer spaces for the disabled drivers.
